The other day Tricia and I were driving somewhere for some reason and were taking notice of the changing leaves. I commented that I really don't care for the yellow leaves because they're lazy and if they weren't they'd have the courtesy to change to a more interesting color.

Howard had Duran Duran in studio yesterday. I recorded it for my wife from the Sirius web stream using the brilliant Audio Hijack Pro on my Mac. That software just rocks.
Anyway, it's attached in mp3 format.

Way, way back in the 1980's.... I used to ride my skateboard everywhere. It was my primary mode of transport around the city in college. Since then I haven't bothered much with skating or anything really, other than watching TV and surfing the web.
Recently, however, I took my son to the skatepark and did a bit of playing around with his board and enjoyed it so much that I had to go and fully outfit myself in all the latest gear that modern technology and the local skate shop can provide. In exchange for a healthy dollop of my cash of course.

September is here and although it's still officially summer, we all know it's really over. The kids started school and Tricia went back to work last week, I closed to pool on Saturday, and the acorns are starting to rain down. When your wife is a teacher your calendar starts in September. I hate September.

Nothing has changed since I started Kindergarten.
